More recall on cars (mobile) for software issues

I’ve been to the other side of the world and back. I talk testing where I go. A few people listen and work to improve their skills, but it seems testers are fighting an up hill battle most of the time. Software grows into everything (IoT, Mobile, Cars, Medical), and so the bugs continue. You can find recall numbers just by simple Google searches. As testers we need to provide the information to those stakeholders making the releases of these devices. They need to know if more testing is needed as it seems recalls are “to numerous”?
